Stickin' it to the man!

For the last month.... for some reason every week.... more and more taxes are coming out of DH's check. Last week it was only 2 dollars. This week it is 4 dollars more! He has not added or subtracted exemptions. Is this the govt's way of trying to save the economy by sticking it to the man?? I think it was state and not federal... "Tax-achusetts strikes again!" :)
